Every night, except on
the coldest winter nights, the bats come out from thier
roost in the roof to hunt in the surrounding
mountainside. They don't seem to make a dent on the
abundant insect life, but I guess they must eat a fair
few..
The video above shows the
bats hunting on the drive.
I don't know a great deal about bats but thats going to
change, as soon as I know more about the different types
of bats we have I will update this page with the details.
I also put a bat detector online, with a live video/audio
stream, when I can, check the web cam section for more
details.
